01.02.07 “Tabla Rasa”
The New Year always brings mixed emotions and feelings – Foremost, restlessness- apprehension-resolve-excitement-loss and pain- Like birth really-A pent up feeling, warm, dim and dark with holiday expressed- Excitement of things to come, a new plan coming together! A squeezing of contusional pressures resulting in climatic fashion- a loss of things known! A blinding reality- a cacophony of foreignness’- Cold and momentary alone- Lights and sensors whirl into aliveness- the dimmer switch “cranked” full blast by the cruel hands of fate! ALL Systems GO for launch!

So begins a new journey- and like every new journey there are questions- How? When? WHY? To be or not to be? How to be? When to be? Why to be? Deep questions being pondered at 4:30 am on this day of perpetual newness- A cerebral horse waiting at the gate-Grayrose light peering through thin clouds behind the sleeping mountain- A new day dawn’in…

Strangely, music cues from Carlos Santana /slowly regaining form from the recesses of my mind- Appropriate I guess for a new day, new month, New Year!!
